Rear tire losing air

I have an Ultra 01. Avon Venom tires..spoke wheels.
I removed the side bags, sprayed the rim/tire with soapy water to try to locate a leak. There is a small leak just about the 'nut' on the valve stem.
Is this a dealer type repair or is it something that a non mechanic like me can do.? Thanks for any advice.

If the tube is leaking the wheel and tire have to come off and best to replace the tube. If just the valve core is leaking it may be a loose and just need a small turn. The valve core could also damaged and leaking past its seal. If you have to replace the tube check inside the tire for a small nail or other puncture.

Thanks all. Looks like a dealer type thing. If nothing else, peace of mind. If I have a go at it, I'll forever be worried about it letting me down ( so to speak).
I'll stop at a dealer nearby tomorrow.

If the bubbles are coming from the rim base where the stem comes through you most likely have a puncture. If the bubbles come from the top of the valve stem you have a valve core leak.
