My rear brake switch went out. So I go to the HD store to pick up a replacement switch. After taking out the old one my new switch looks nothing like the new one. I take both to the dealer just to make sure I got the right part and it's correct. My problem is the new switch has a longer threaded shaft and the hole looks smaller so it's taking up more space when I wrench it down. I can't get enough pressure in the foot peddle to bleed the brakes properly. I've been pumping on the foot peddle and still getting a few bubbles. It does have some resistance but not enough to use the bleeder. Is it just a massive air bubble or the new switch is to long....help!! thanks.
