Re-tune if Baffles removed ??

    Hi fellas,09 heritage with SERT and V&H longshots.If i remove baffles does it need re-tune/map,and if removed and to loud are the baffles easily re-fitted,cheers,and sorry if Q been asked before.:cheers

    I agree, leave them in place. It sounds bad and needs to be re tuned.

    Cheers Hobbit/Glider,that'll do for me,but when you say it'll sound bad,are u talkin specifically about longshots?,obviously some guys run there pipes without baffles..just curious? thanks again

    Generally speaking it's the muffler cans that sound bad, the long shots will resemble drag pipes with no baffles, still needs re tuning and runs bad with no back pressure.

    Glider/Hobbit,one more Q,my wife has 09 Nightster and is thinkin of some slip-ons for next season,will she need tune/map or can she just have them fitted,thanks fellas..

    Just slipons you don't have to retune but it would run better with some added fuel.
