RE; Service Manual

The bike is a "theme" bike manufactured by GT Bicycle Manufacturer, try going to your local GT Bicycle Dealer and see if you can get a copy of the service/owners manual...especially if you are trying to restore with as much original stuff as possible.

Here is a pix of one that Glider would be proud of, BUT minus Stage I mods, LOL...

If I remember correctly they were $1,500 new. Pound for pound, they cost MORE than any Harley motorcycle. AND you had to put playing cards or balloons in the spokes to get them sounding right. :newsmile093:

I remember those days - cards on the spokes were awesome. I think I had ~10 clothespins holding enough cards to get the true "HD rumble" on my banana bike.
