Thanks fellas. I'm hoping to get the chrome lowers on next week. The original aluminum are badly pitted. I bought the bike used, and previous owner didn't take very good care of it. I have had to replace lots of chrome that was badly pitted. I did that last winter, when I did the engine. I had to replace the transmission side and top cover, cam cover, rocker covers and the head light housing is pitted too. I am likely going to just have that rechromed. You can't just buy the housing any more. You have to buy the whole works which is $1,000 +. I'm sure, I can get it rechromed for much much less than that.
