I'm curious if I could tie into my radio harness and run a jack from the speakers. From this jack I would plug in a quality set of speakers installed into my 3/4 helmet. Wondering if the volume control would still operate? I was thinking this might be an option for those of us who ride with ear plugs. Any suggestions?

You can get the wire harness from HD that is used to connect to the radio system, usually comes with the CB, but can be purchased separately. This will allow you to connect anythiing you want with the right adapter.

If you look around on EBay you can probably find the adapter that I found that plugs right into the headset plug and adapts to a regular stereo plug that you find on earbuds. I carry mine in my pizza box most of the time just in case someone wants to go for a ride and wants to LISTEN (not talk) to me on the intercom or to the radio/cd.
