Radio cutting off while riding

Good day! My question sit to anyone that has experienced this issue before. As I ride down the road playing either an ipod hook up or just the radio, it will simply stop playing music. If I turn the radio system off, wait a few seconds and turn it back on, it resumes playing the radio or ipod. It will last a little bit and then shut off yet again. This has been happening for a little while now. I took the front fairing off to do some checking and I cannot find anything out of place or unplugged or any connections cracked or broken. I am at a loss as to why this is happening. If someone can give me some insight on what I need to be looking for, I would be more than greatful. Please Help!! Thank you.

I have used Iron Cross and let me tell you they are fast with repairs.
They are in NJ and Next day FedEx my stuff back for me.
Repairs were inexpensive and had upgraded put in...aux jack in rear of radio for GPS and I also got the IPod hookup kit.
iPod hookup kit is nice because it shows up on display and can use all hand controls on bike to make it work.

There maybe other companies out there but iron cross is fast and relatively inexpensive.

If it's an FLH check the speaker switch in the faring. If in the third position the CB could be causing the problem (if it has one). That happened to me when I first got mine. Took a while to figure it out.

This happened to me when I first got my Ultra. It would happen when I hit 70mph. I figured out that it was the VOX from the Intercom which was on. No, I don't work for NASA...
