Quick Turn Signal Question

I am working on a bike that has no signals on it. It's a 1994 Heritage Softail Classic. I picked up some Fatboy signals. I installed the front signals but I am waiting on the rear signals because I just ordered a relocation kit to relocate them to the laydown license plate.

My question is.. will the front signals not flash without the rear signals installed?

The front signals are installed and when you turn the key switch, the riding lights light up. When you press the signal button the light will brighten and stay bright until you press it again.

So, is my turn signal module bad or is it because I don't have the rear signals installed?

It's because you don't have the rear signals. It's also an easy way to tell when you have a bulb out.

Great! That's what I assumed, but just wanted to check. I am waiting on the relocation kit, but didn't know if I should order a signal flash module too.
