The Google map of my route:

Plenty of mixed farming up Hwy 10 and loved the scenerey. Go through flat with bust and fields to rolling hills to riding down into the Qu'Appelle Valley and Fort Qu'Appelle. Exit the valley into more rolling hills and farmland with the occassional tree filled ravine and duck ponds.

I just gotta ask, what is "bust" or was that a typo?

Still got my atlas out you ever ride to La Ronge, Saskatchrwan man that is up there. Nice pictures, it does look like you are well into Indian Summer. Probably giving those Florida guys hyperthermia.

Oooops, that's "bush" not "bust":D. That's what happens when you rush. I'd typed the whole thing twice. First time I went to exit a second internet window I had open and ended up exiting both. Was using IE for the days before and forgot that google closes out different.

I should have been able to figure that out, but after my 5,000 mile trip in Aug. that saw all manner of strange geological/topographical landscapes (to me), and the local terminology, I thought it was some Canadian term, eh? :taunt

Thanks for sharing that trip Ol' Hippie! It was a real eye opener in regards to the changing of the seasons. In the 90's today here in Mississippi, but we've had some nice 80's lately and they're supposed to return tomorrow. Do you guys get really vivid fall foliage in that part of Canada? Looks like I could see some leaf color in the pics. Glad you made it home safe from the bush and didn't bust!:a

Thanks for rubbing in the temperature difference.:newsmile100: Yes, we get some vivid fall foliage colours. It looks really pretty but is a kinda disheartening because you know that white junk and colder weather isn't that many months away.
