I have an 89 FLH. Took the fairing off and now I want to put on apes for comfort and looks. The bike sits high, I'm 5'9" and wonder about heights and kits.
Questions about modification specifics

I guess you will have to figure out that on your own (what hieght you like) and the look you are going for,I know most guys that go with Apes on touring models,But keep the fairing on, go with 13'' apes and the guys with street glides go with 16'' apes to clear the fairing mounted mirrors if they dont want to go with the handlebar mounted ones.
