Questin about HD Alarm system with push button fob

If the alarm is armed and you move the bike and the 4 way flashers start blinking, and you disable alarm is there a delay before it will start (cranks no fire)

I would think not. The alarm should inhibit cranking, along with the spark.
At least that's the way it is on my 2009.

I agree with Hoople...I have a 2004 Sportster with the button fobs...if the alarm is on, cranking is inhibted as well as the spark. You will get flashing indicating the "error of your ways"...don't ask me how I know! :s

My 01 Fatboy fires up as soon as it's disarmed. How long of a delay?

Started with a bad battery and then bike acted funny , i set the alarm and had moved the bike and the flashers where flashing, i pressed the key fob to dis arm and tried to start a few times and no go, about 10 min later it started???
I took to harly dealer and had fobs re flashed and had them check codes and they said , no codes to be found and all was good???
