Pumping it up!

I have a '98 Road King and would like to pump it up a little. I tow a trailer from time to time. Went cross country from Ca to DC in '07 Run to the Wall and towed the trailer. It did Ok but was a little under powered for me in the mountains. So with that said, Here is what I need. I would like to cam it up. I would like 10:1 compression pistons and need a good cam/head combination. what does anybody suggest and why? I have looked into Edelbrock but am unsure which cam to get for my application.

A rock-solid combination is a Wood 6 cam, minor cylinder head work, and establish 9.8-10/1 cr via re-surface or pistons.
Great fuel economy, and smooth running as well.
That simple.
Never wonder if you did it wrong.
