pulsing front brake

I ride a wide glide and changed the front tire the other day. I believe that the term warped may be being improperly applied in some cases. i think that many times, the disc is being bent, not warped when the tire is changed. Ask yourselves, when did the pulsating braking begin?? after a tire replacement. anyway I hooked up a dial indicator to my axle and found 40+ thousanths run out on my disc, I made little bends at the hi spots and got it back to within .004" and after a ride my pulsing was gone. Been putting up with this for awhile because I think that 200+ for a floating rotor is overpriced. anyway, if you have this problem and access to a dial indicator you may find that the one who changed your tire last time may be the cause of your braking problem----jack
