I have a 2006 softail deluxe EFI. is it worth buying a programmer for a stock bike. only upgrade is exhaust python. im looking for a easy upgrade for power.
 
Yes, factory settings are very lean. Adding a little more fuel will give a little more power, and allow the bike to run a little cooler. Add a free flowing air filter and you will gain even a little more performance. Doebeck/Teclusion is an easy to install and set programmer. They are a supporter of this forum. I've had one for 5+ years with no problems, and still avg. 40 mpg.
