Professionals Thread

I was a public service professional (firefighter) many moons ago, but now have been in IT profession for 23+ years.

Former medical sciences researcher (immunotoxicology, neuroendocrinology), then college professor, now physician assistant (emergency medicine, women's health), retired in 2-3 years I hope.
Ishmael (Larry)

Maybe I should have said public service professionals.

Doctors ,Lawyers,Para legals, Police, Fire , dentists etc.

Not sure if this qualiifies, but I was an electrician for 21 years, had my own business for 15, ran a service truck for 17 (working as an electrical designer for the last 16 designing LNG facilities in 3D on a computer).

Personally I think it's interesting reading what everyone does for a living, but I know there was already a thread started for that several years ago.

How about yourself Glider, I know everyone is interested, a retired fireman if I remember correctly, now a web master and Harely genius, both worthy endeavours, but I know all of us here on the forum benefit most from the later!

You pretty much nailed it Gas Gauge. Retired professional Firefighter for 21 years till an on the job mishap fighting a fire put me out to pasture. Did save a life or two in that 21 years so that's my reward.

Now I just put out the trash..... literally :lolrolling
