Glider,

I have done lots of reading and seems you are very respected as being very knowledgable about HD's. I just recently prurchased 04' Road King wiht 6,000 miles. the HD Syn oil is used in all holes. What do you recommend instead of the HS oil. I know this is a WIDE open topic but respect what you have written so far.

I use REDLINE for ALL my lube!

WATCH THE MAGNETS!!!!! THEY TELL GOOD AND BAD!!!!!

REDLINE 20/50or/60 engine ***NEVER pieces of * on magnet (570 gear cams)

MTL in the chain case ***a very small amount on magnet.

SHOCKPROOF HEAVY in the trany. *** NEVER a piece of *steel on magnet.

The magnets GIVE me a smile on wear*n*tear...

I have put a lot of work and $$$ into my 2000 dyna

flowed heads*manley valves&springs*larger intake manif.*42 mic'

scream'm-e ignition(programable)*HOT coil*+ plug wires*plugs(STOCK)

95 bore/10.25 s'eag teflon pists.*more cooling fins on barrels*

570SS geardrive cams*delcron cam support plate*Feuling oil pump*

I have been using Syn3, probably will go to Formula+. Will for sure go to a non-synthetic.

Best bet is to forgo the syn 3 altogether. Hugh Chavez supplies it for the MOCO besides which it is not a true synthetic anyway but a blend. There are MUCH better oils available for the same price and in some cases even cheaper than the syn3

Right-on glider..........I've read your articles on this forum about Syn3 :wall. The last of Syn3 is in my bikes. In the future, I'll probably put Mobil1 in the engine, Formula+ in the primary, and Bel-Ray transmission fluid in the tranny.:bigsmiley8:
