I just bought a Dimple 1/8 NPT primary drain plug to replace the stock plug that is such a hassle. This one has a hex head and a big magnet. Have most of you guys upgraded to this plug and if so how do you like it?

Kinda pricey! BTW, don't your current drain plugs have magnets in them?

I ordered mine from drainplugmagnets.com for 21.95 including shipping and yes the old drain plug does have a small magnet that IMO won't pick up anything. The new one has a much larger and more powerful magnet much like the one in my diesel truck that will pick up all metal particles and no more guessing about how far to screw it in like the old plug because the new one has a hex head.
