I am writing to highlight a fitting problem I had with attempting to fit a Power Commander V module to my 09 Sportster 883. Following the instructions to the letter, I could not locate the module near the battery as the photos specified. The wiring loom was at least 6in too short to allow this.
After emailing the headquarters of Power Commander, they replied that a plastic box was available that would enable the module to fit under the ECU (in the style of the Power commander 3 unit). I have now fitted the unit using this method, but despite sending photographic evidence to the company to show that their original fitting instructions were incorrect, I have had no reply. I am dissappointed in this from a supposedly reputable company!
