Popping

Hi, any input on this would be greatly appreciated......Working on a 2010 Sportster 48. Installed a power commander V with vanse and hines short shots, and air box.

I have adjusted the fuel on the power commander from -40 to 30 and the bike popps in all 10 incriments. Also when pipes were replaced also replaced the head studs.

Again any input would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you could have an exhaust leak for starters. Check all the connections and the head pipe to cylinder connection.

Thats what I thought to....I put on new gaskets once, then replaced head bolts and gaskets again.

One other thing I noticed, when you are cruiseing at about 3000rpm there is a noticiable, I want to say miss, but feels more like a surgeing. More or less gas it does not seem to do it....???? Any ideas?

Surging can be caused by a lean mixture which can also be the result of an intake leak.
