When I called the J&J 800 number a few years back and talked to the lady about using Pledge on automotive type paints she didn't miss a beat when she told me that "they did not recommend using Pledge on automobiles". When I asked why, she pretty much blew me off. In other words the lawyers had not signed off on it at that time. I told her I had been using Pledge on all my vehicles for 15 years and again she pretty much blew me off. Isn't it amazing now, they must have miraculously added some mystery ingredient to their formula so it is now safe to use on motorcyles. Just because a manufacturer does not say it will not work on a given applications does not mean it will not work. Does anybody remember when life was so simple and the only time you got involved with a lawyer was when you got a divorce or bought a house?
