I have used it in the past for Shovel Heads rocker box gaskets and other small gaskets for same motor. Never had a need on Evo's or TC's. Does make it harder to remove old gaskets.

I have used it with good success but as Tourbox said it does make it hard to remove. Best bet is to make sure the there is no warpage and use a good quality gasket dry or with a small amount of grease to keep them in place during assembly
