On the performance side, getting more air in the motor thru the air breather, is a plus or not.:small3d026:

More air in is always better. But you have to get it out too. You also have to mix increased air with the proper amount of fuel for the motor to run right.

The air cleaner housing is very restrictive to air flow on evo bikes so a complete air cleaner including a new back plate is required however the original cover can be used
Larger jets in the carb and a less restrictive exhaust system are also needed however carb jets may be ok as hd started dropping jet sizes in 92 to meet lower emission requirements
