I had my bike dynoed last fall (03 RK 95 in,203 cams ,SE slip ons and SE air cleaner)bike runs great except for a little ping at lower rpms with moderate throttle. If you grab a handful it wont ping. I think it was tuned great for full throttle runs but thats really not useable for a daily rider I think I need to take a little timing out at those rpms and throttle positions. My question is how much?
Do I start out with -2 degrees in each field and try it or is 5 deg increments more like it? Is there any risk of damage by retarding too much? Any input would be appreciated

I would drop it 2* in the RPM areas that it is pinging and try it again. Taking too much timing out will loose power and run hotter.
