Passenger footrest bracket lowered??

Can anyone who has a street glide tell me if there is a way to lower the passenger footrests? It looks like they are a solid piece unlike the Road King. I thought maybe someone found a way.

Unless they changed the mounting, if you remove the bolt that attaches the footrest bracket, you will find the adjustment holes beneath it.

As Glider said, the stock passenger pegs/boards on a SG can be attached at one of several different mounting points to change their height. Many companies (I know HD and Kuryakyn for sure) sell new mounting brackets that give you many more choices for height AND angle. I think they range from around $150 up to $350, though - not exactly a cheap solution. I'd try moving them around on the stock attachment points first.
