Pan engine oil pouring from primary case

Hi all ,new to this forum, and Harley! Got a 59 duo Glide. Was tuning carb, when all the engine oil decided to come pouring out of the primary cover!! Boo Hoo. Was wondering if anyone had any idea what this could be?Was reving the engine, so must have blown something. Have got to fix carb before I can see where the oil is comming from, but hoping to get a head start on the problem.

Oil pump return line from the primary may be blocked. The pump may have a problem picking up the oil from that return line.

Hi Just to let you know .Cleared oil way , went through the fuel, she now running like a dream
