outer primary case leak

Had the inner primary bearing replaced & now have a slight leak where the shift rod comes out of the outer case. Any suggestions as to what may cause this?

There's a gasket between the inner and outer where the rod comes through. Possible they reused the old gasket?

Pretty sure he used the old one.. got a new one on order.
