Optimum Outside Temp

I guess if a person is really interested in this the easiest way would be to use Density Altitude which pilots and drag racers use all the time.

In simple terms it will tell you at what altitude your bike thinks it is operating in versus the actual altitude. It takes into account temp, humidity, actual altitude ASL and barometric pressure. This is a relly simple explanation to give you an idea.

For example, on a really hot huimid day I can ride out of my driveway at 312 feet and the bike's engine is operating as though it is in Denver.

Like wise today with the temp around 36, Bara 29.88, Dew Point of 20 the engne thinks we are 1000 feet below sea level.

The O2 density figures are based on everything else being constant and as a result it is a straight slope on the line but that isn't real life
