Old iron head problem

69 Iron Head jumps back into third gear from fourth. Makes for some high rev's. Was wondering if maybe someone else have had this problem? Thanks Semper Fi

Bent/worn shift fork.Probably time to go through the trans and replace a few items.I'd stop riding it before it grenades and takes out the lower corner of the cases.

Glad to help.Lemme know what ya find.Oh and have a factory service manual on hand for set-up.They old 4 speed XL's can be a pain to set up but well worth it when done right.
