Ok Changed Voltage Regulator, Still Not Holding Charge

Ok, I was told my voltage regulator was bad on my 73, it has generator no stator. Generator and Battery has tested out fine, installed new voltage regulator. Still not holding charge any suggestions? Thanks~

Using a meter, what voltage reading do you get when measured directly across the battery. Measure at both idle and at 2500 RPM.

Have you load tested the battery and polarized the generator? Any time you disrupt power to the battery you need to polarize the generator Harley Davidson Community

I believe the voltage regulator needs to be polarised also. Or is it you can polarise the gen At the regulator.
