    The bike; 2010 FatBoy, S&S air filter kit, V&H slip-on's, Knight-Rider 14.0 Xieds.
Rode yesterday, 100* hot!!! Rode on interstate at 70/75 mph and putted around back roads anywhere from 35 to 50 mph. Did this for 2 hours.
Oil temperature never got over 210*. This is with Lucas 50wt synthetic oil.

Were your temps higher if you used 20/50 before this?

    That's a good running temp.

Had used HD360 and Mobil1 15W50, both always ran around 230/240* ish.
Really like the Lucas 50wt syn so far. Am using HD's analog oil temp gauge.

Yes, HD even recommends straight weights in high temps. Being that the Lucas 50wt is synthetic, thats even better.
