Oil Problem

So I adjusted the primary chain and added fluid as needed the other day. I also checked the engine oil and topped off as needed. First off the reason I adjusted the primary chain was due to excessive noise. There was very little oil in primary which was odd given I had checked it two weeks prior. Since adding the primary oil I now have oil coming out of the crankcase breather. When I checked the engine oil it was fine.

Could the reason I am losing primary oil and yet I always have enough engine oil and am blowing oil out of crank vent be a bad crank seal?

ALSO, IF Older bike like you show in your Avatar, Usually with the engine seal gone, they Leak oil out of the motor INTO the primary, filling it up...
Oil out the vent tells me TOOOOO much oil in the primary...
