Well decided to install the oil cooler tonight maybe a hour to do if that
Thanks to smitty for the full pic of parts i was to gung ho to install to take that pic
First Remove the old Filter
Then remove the oil filter adapter
Metric 22mm Socket fits just fine
Install the gasket on the adapter then install adapter onto engine
You will need a 7/16 Allen wrench not a common one for the tool box i bought one when i ordered the kit and im a repair man not one i ever used
Next remove Volt Regulator and reposition wires The instructs are really lame here ..
Then assemble the Shield Bracket and oil cooler together
Hang the oil cooler on the studs for regulator and then hang the regulator
Make sure to space you hose clamps so you can re tighten later if need be
install filter
Fire it up check of leaks
I know they say they have a 185 degree thermostat but it seemed to open a bit fast temp was only running about 115 on a thermal gun then dropping fast to re warm up .. i know there is a difference reading outside but that 70 degree difference
