Off/run switch

On my last few rides I have had some starting issues. I hit the off/on switch to on and hit the starter button and nothing. The ignition is in the on position. I have to cycle the off/on a few times before it will start. Does anyone have any idea on where to start looking for a loose connection? Replacing the switch at the dealer is the last option. I just was wondering if anyone else has seen this before.
Thanks in advance, John

Remove the cover and check for corrosion or a loose connection. With a test light toggle the switch and check for power. You very well could have a bad switch but a loose connection and or corrosion have been an issue for some.

I don't know your yr/model, but do your emergency flashers blink several times when it doesn't start? If they do, it's an indication the FOB battery is low and needs changing.

It’s a 2016 Dyna Switchback. Never thought of that. I’m gonna change the battery also. That’s easy. Thanks
