Now that my Freewheeler is running cooler, I have a hard time tolerating the increase in noise. I replaced the muffler with the quietest pipes HD makes. At least that is what HD said. They were supposed to give it a deeper sound. It doesn't sound very different to me. Any suggestions on how to quiet it down. Hoping not to put the cat back on. Thanks.

Hello Donna. I have the screamin eagle street cannons with the short angle cut caps, and no
cat. They're only loud on the road when on the open road climbing a hill, or when
I open the throttle some, or when I crack the throttle for downshifting. Other than that I'm happy. Also, I find they make my 09 Street Glide sound like the old time Harley Davidsons. I really like them.
