No spark

I have 03 Harley ultra. The bike runs for approximately 5 minutes and shuts down. It will crank over, but no spark. I replaced the coil and it still does the same thing. Is there a relay or something that allows the bike to crank over, yet not provide a spark? After sitting for about an hour, it starts, but after 5 minutes or so the whole process repeats.

Is it possible that it gets hot and stops working, then cools down and it works again?

I don't know how you are doing this so,,,,,Try checking for spark with both sparkplugs in the heads, using an old plug in the lead. I forgot when it was introduced but the sensors need to feel compression before they will spark. Is the bike carb or FI? It could be a clogged fuel filter (or tank strainer). If it is a carb bike, remove the 17mm plug on the bottom of the carb float bowl and turn the petcock on and see if you get a steady flow of gas.

It's a very common issue don’t stress just check the oil filter.
