no spark to plugs

I recently purchased a 95 xlh1200 sportster it runs great but ... it started giving me problems about a month or so ago first sign of problems it shut down with no warning but a few moments later it started no problem the next time it took almost 2 hours (cool down time) before it started it got progressively wore untill now it wont fire at all ...... im so bummed i hate watching my brothers ride off on this poker run or that event and im stuck at home ... please help

Your electronic ignition module went out. Try freezing it with a can of air (upside down). Also, where are you? I have a module you can try (if you are nearby) to see if that is it before you buy one..

The other possiblity of the hall effect sensor for the igintion timing. They sometimes go out in that fashion.

thank you i will try your suggestion ... BTW im in CA im no where near MD used to live in Johnstown PA but that dont help now .. LOL .. thank you for the help
