Installed a set of XIEDs (13.8s) this morning and just got back from a fairly short, 30 mile test cruise. The install couldn't have been any simpler, just a few minutes. The rear connection was under the starter cover on my FLHT. Plug them in, seated well, and a couple of zip ties and it started right up w no codes showing. Once the bike warmed up, it's already 86 out, I rode off. Throttle response seems better and stayed good even in stop and go city traffic. Usually my bike gets feeling ragged about the time my right inner thigh gets hot but neither happened today. The bike felt happy, I felt happy so on my factory calibrated happy meter the Nightrider XIEDs get a thumbs up. I'll post more as I get some miles on them including the 55 mph 6th gear uphill ping test.
