New Ultra Owners: Standby your windshield replacement.

Well! With all the great help given. I decided on trying the "Custom FLHT Windshield". I've purchased the 8" half moon. Based on information found on this site and others. If riding two up, windshield provided the best protection. It may sound funny, but riding in California you can get away with one windshield year round.

The GF and I just purchased Freedom Shields 8" recurve windshields in light smoke. We love them, no more wind than with stock and we look over them.

Hers is on an 08 Ultra and mine on an 05 Ultra.

My stock windshield drove me nuts as i was looking right into the top of it. I went with a kuryaken 8 inch smoked and so far i love it. It has the look of a standard harley shield and looks and works great. I guess my homework before buying paid off for me as i see no reason for another one.
