Im just praying this doesnt happen again when i get it back from the techs.This may be a stupid question but what causes this to happen? Is it just wear and tear or could it be rider error????

It's not something that you should loose sleep over. It happens but not an every day thing. It could have been something circulating in the oil and caused the problem too.

Too bad about the ride. Get it fixed and get on the road.
