Heys guys,

Just joined thr PGR and there is a mission tomorrow:

CPO Fernando Jorge USCG. He was one of 4 CG men lost in Mobile Bay when the chopper they were on went down. We will escort him to Mobile Airport.

Question for the seasoned PGR...is there anything I need to know or do as this will be my first mission.

I feel honored to ride with a fallen brother.

You should be able to go to your state's PGR web page and get specific info for each mission. There should also be phone numbers for any Road Commander's as well as the Road Commander In Charge. Do not hesitate to email or phone with ANY questions you have.

And thanks for taking part in such an important mission!

Welcome aboard. I guarantee you will be moved by what you are about to participate in. Wish I could be there.

Just ride with respect for the fallen hero and his family. There will be a briefing by the ride captain before the escort.

Dr Do,

Thanks for getting back, as you suggested I have visitrd the website and obtained directions, times, look for either a red or marroon cap for the commander.

I do not see anything on the Alabama PGR website on this, but you can probably track it down pretty easily in their forums. I would get to the staging area a little early and find the RC and let him know it is your first mission. It will be hard to find a nicer group of people....

I echo Dyna-riders advice. Respect to the fallen and the fallen's family!

I am pretty new to PGR also. I am doing my 4 mission on Saturday.

Russ, this is all I have for staging times and places.

Riding with the PGR is one of the reasons I bought a new bike,I wanted to keep making missions..I wish I could make more of them...one of our ride captains likes to say " There is a lot of things I would rather be doing right now...but none that are this important "...Good luck on your first mission....Proud member of East Texas Patriot Guard....
