hello i just picked up a sportster 883 that was sitting in neighbors garage for 15 years.
he said it was converted to an 1200 20 years ago. is there anyway to tell if it has 1200 heads?
needs some work, i will be asking questions as time progresses. thanks in advance.
 
Welcome from So. Texas. On the old conversion like that they did not recommend using 1200 heads, don't recall why though. They did have different P/N's though. You can only tell by the Bore size. Bigger for a 1200
