Just put a Mustang seat on wifes 883xl and now she does not stand flat footed. How can i lower the rear shocks some?

With a lowering kit , shorter but also much much stiffer rear shocks , tell her to keep her feet on the pegs

I am very Serious here... Putting a 3/4 inch(or what is needed) full extension on her favorite boot is a good way to go! (heels and souls)
Once she gets used to the added thickness, she will love you for the suggestion and be much safer on the bike...
Make sure It is done Proper and Soft souls not hards ones that will slip...

    Seriously....BUBBIE

#1-look into the Harley seat that moves her forward and slightly lower (it's a HD seat).

#2- check into the "Burley Suspensions" "Slammer kit" $299. 10.5" rear shocks, front springs that lower the bike 1.5-2.5".

Had to do the slammer kit on my wife's 07 1200L. It's been said that this is the lowest kit available and the bike physically can't be lowered any further.

Just bought the bike and it already had the seat on it. Very comfortable. Tracy

I think he meant that it is her bike and she rides it, meaning she is not a passenger :)
