New pipes

I got a new set of Vance and Hines Big Shots for my FXDWG for Christmas and got them put on today. It took a little over 3 hours to do it by myself. A helper would have speeded up the install end of it. Took it out for a short 15 mile ride. It was 35 degree's tops today. That's all the cold I could stand. The new pipes sound awesome, even to my old half deaf hearing.

Just remember that great sounding exhaust equates to faster rear tire wear....:s

:s Good on you, are you adding some fuel?

Yes, the Superchips Vigilante tuner came in late today and downloaded got the latest updates downloaded. Will flash the ECM tomorrow.

I have a new set of tires waiting to be put on with a little more wear on the present ones :cheers

Old thread I know, but would like to know what you (or anyone else that has it) think of the Vigilante now that you've obviously had time to install and get many miles on it.
