in Texas the course is a requirement to get your license since 09 i believe. I've taken care of that one.
So far my circle of comfort is fairly small around my house. Even allot of neighborhood driving to get things down on this bike rather than the ones we took the class with. IDK, maybe a 10-15 MI radius so far. No highways yet. Each ride now becomes more and more fun as you become more and more comfortable.
Don't know which side of town yer on but, on early weekend days, Dallas north tollway north of George Bush and the 121 tollway are stress free rides to get yer feet wet. 35, stay away for now.
