My first Harley, and my first post. I just purchased a Sportster and have been stalking the threads here on HDTALKING. I look forward to being a member and being schooled by the old timers.
 
Thanks to all, had the bike for 2 weeks. I got her after she sat for 7 years without being run. I am going through the bike for little things while I wait for my carb to be rebuilt. The gas tank was history, sealant peeling off the inside. The bike came with a new King tank so I will only have to deal with the paint mismatch. I added a new battery and have been knocking of the rust in a few places.

I hope to hear her run next week.
