New Here Have Exhaust ? 2012 to 2008

Hi all I have a 2012 FLHTC I would like to put on a 2008 Street Glide Stock exhaust. Want to stay stock and like the looks of the street glide exhaust and because I already have them. My question is will the 2008 slip ons cause a problem because of the different sizes in engines? one of the 2008 pipes is like the 2012 pipe the other 2008 is more restricted .

Due to the amount of changes fm 08-to-09-to-12...I think you're taking on too many gremlins w/this exhaust on your '12. There were frame/mount changes, O2 sensor difference(s), pipe mod, etc... I say best to get a decent "non-CAT" header & stick w/your stock pipes.

not sure about the 2008 but I know the 2009 will work on a 2012 and no cat in the 2009 pipe.

Yep...just one difference w/location + size of O2 sensor bungs.

Maybe I confused everyone I should have said I want to just switch the slipons not the entire exhaust Sorry
