New 2012 Streetglide

Hey Guys,
600 miles on my new Glide and noticed the engine light and battery light stay on sometime while riding. What gives?
 
And don't let them tell you "They all do that" 'cause they don't. There's no way your engine light and battery light should stay on while riding if all is well.
 
If your dealer is closed Sunday and you want to ride, pull your seat off and check that the battery terminals are tight. 1 screw at the back of the seat and lift up and back.
 
Isn't there a RECALL on the voltage regulator on these New bikes?

I would Not ride it far but If you ride it to the dealer,,,, I would Charge the battery on Low amps BEFORE I rode it to the dealer... Bike will Not run Long without JUICE. Max on a FULL batter and System Not charging, is 52 miles MOST and QUIT....:(

60 miles is pushing it,,,,, I MEAN YOU PUSHING IT...

I do KNOW this the hard way. Tow truck time...:bigsmiley23:
