Need help.

Does anybody know how to remove the fork slider cover? It have like a small notch but I dont know if i can remove it with a screwdriver, Any ideas?

I took a 5/16" wooden dowel and grind a blunt tip on one end. Then just tap it off with a small hammer. If you use something metal your bound to scratch it.

the wood dowel inside the notch or against the lip of the cap?

Thanks, but before I actually figured it out, I scratched my own cover using a punch.! I am actually better at fixing other peoples problems than my own.
