Can't say I have had too many long road trips under my belt yet as last year was my first riding season. I'm from Massachusetts and am just getting warm enough weather to ride and am excited for the first road trip to rolling thunder with a group of guys!
I'd say my best days on the bike are when I get a day with my wife and we go out to lunch. I did take a good trip last summer on a day when she was out of town visiting family......Took a leave day and rode up 93 out of Massachusetts....cut accross the Kank highway through the white mountains and into Maine and then road the coastal roads (RT 1) all the way home! That was a memorable day.....plenty of back roads and scenery.
Can't wait to have a day to myself like that again!
