Natchez trace section closed

Just wanted to pass along this info in case anyone is planning on a trip along the Natchez Trace Parkway. There is a fairly long section in the area at Jackson, MS that will be closed for repairs. I heard on the news that it could take up to a year to complete. That's a bummer for us.

Thanks for the info. I literally just finished downloading maps in preparation for a trip down the Trace with some guys from work. Can you tell me approx mile marker the construction starts and stops? Or, is there a website that I can find updates to construction? Thanks again for sharing.
